Where did you get it?: Surreal acquired this particular weapon while staying on a planet with an intensive black market. Having heard of the weapon from a friend, she set out to find one and she accomplished that task.

Customization: Tinkered with so that Surreal can wield the blaster even though she isn't a Geonosian.
